Bookworm Blurbs

Okay, so my place in this book isn't 100% accurate since I'm at work and don't have the book right in front of me, but I had to get my thoughts out before I lost them! 

Oh. My. Goodness. This book. I don't know what it is about it, but I'm hooked. Yes, it has its flaws - it's not superbly written, it's got instalove all over it, and the love interest just seems a bit too perfect to be true so far. I mean, when Amelia tells Joshua that she's dead, he's just like, "Huh. Okay. Cool." And what teenage boy would have such a calm reaction to a bombshell like that? It's very unrealistic. Like I said, so far, this book definitely has its share of problems that I think could have and should have been resolved prior to publication. 

But that being said, I am hooked and it is KILLING me right now to be working instead of reading. Which is why I'm writing about it instead during my free moments at work, haha. The book just has such a cool premise and something about the first chapter just stole my attention and hasn't let it go since. I'm so glad this was on the US of YA challenge list (or, rather, the sequel was) so I had to read it, otherwise, I probably wouldn't have picked it up!
