I absolutely adore reading - my love for books has had a huge impact on my life! I'm going to grad school to be a children's/YA librarian.
Feeling very ambivalent about this story. On one hand, it's very fast-paced in the sense that it's not taking me very long to read (though it helps that it's written in large, double-spaced font) and the story is just interesting enough to keep me reading. However, I do feel like the story itself is slow to unfold and I'm not very impressed by Davies' writing style. It feels very underdeveloped. Her characterization is lacking, as well. I feel like she picked about 3 adjectives for each character (example: Asher - hot, rebellious, funny. Devin - hot, reserved, dutiful) and then decided that there was no need to add any more depth to them than that. While my rating for this probably won't be horrible, I doubt that it will be very high.
