I absolutely adore reading - my love for books has had a huge impact on my life! I'm going to grad school to be a children's/YA librarian.
This book needs to be edited. Badly. I feel like the story is going to get interesting... eventually... but for now, it's just filled with mundane details that really don't matter in the grand scheme of things. Also, there's a ton of info-dumping. But, I am still impressed that Cayla Kluver wrote this when she was 16. It has potential. If only she had been patient enough to go through the process of having a professional editor take a peek at it, rather than having her mother self-publish it in hopes that a bigger company would pick it up...
