I absolutely adore reading - my love for books has had a huge impact on my life! I'm going to grad school to be a children's/YA librarian.
Reading progress update: I've read 123 out of 550 pages.
THIS BOOK IS FANTASTIC. It tackles an absolutely heartbreaking period of history with humor and a childlike innocence (at least, so far) that reflects the youth of its protagonist. I love the little sarcastic comments from the narrator, as well. Can't wait to read more tomorrow!
