I absolutely adore reading - my love for books has had a huge impact on my life! I'm going to grad school to be a children's/YA librarian.
The Invention of Hugo Cabret
This book was really cute. I thought that the format of it was really original. It looks long, but I think pretty much anyone could fly through it. I'd especially recommend it to kids of around middle school age who might not be very enthusiastic readers - I think that the way that Selznick wrote it would keep them interested. But it was very enjoyable for me, a 21yrold bookworm, to read as well :)
